Return My Stolen Dogs
In January 2013 after months of physical and emotional illness and in the midst of a nervous breakdown after 22 year of being abused in a relationship with a sociopath Robert "Bob" Hunt, @askauntbob, @newauntbob I had two options for the care of my beloved min pin, Piggy and George my chihuahua. I could have turned them over to a shelter while got the care I needed to become strong again or let a friend in Louisville, Kentucky take my dogs for SAFEKEEPING. While the shelter was very king, I could not be guaranty that my two kids would be kept close to one another. The dogs, both rescues are very dependent on one another and I wanted their absence from me to be as stressless as possible, having every intention having them back with me.
I chose to have them go with my "friend" who, it was discussed with and well understood would have the dogs kept together and returned to me when I was able to have them back, reunited with me and under my care again. On a Sunday in February, Paul Bridwell of Louisville Kentucky arrived at my home on the westside of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was accompanied by a friend named Nancy. Again, it was discussed and agreed that the animals were going with them for safekeeping and that I would, when able have my animals returned to me. The dogs were taken from my home with that clearly understood by all involved.
At that time I was beginning a very long road that ended several weeks later with my being in the hospital in extreme physical illness and emotionally drained. I was told I had suffered a "nervous breakdown" and was suffering from "severe" PTSD. I have had a long road dealing with critical physical illness and emotional trauma.
In April, having come far from that day in January I was able to strike out on my own again, which meant living on my own for the first time in twenty-two years. I was ready for the return of my beloved children. I telephoned Paul Bridwell on a Sunday evening in April and told him I was ready to take the animals back. He became very quiet. He would not respond to my questions about the dogs. When I flatly said "where are the dogs Paul" he said they are GONE! When I asked where he would not tell me, he did, mater of factly tell me the dogs were in homes, when I said "homes", I yelled, "they are together aren't they, he responded, no.
I began to shake all over, this man had taken my animals under agreement that they would be kept together, not separated, held in safekeeping for me and returned to me when I was able to again have them close to me. In the ensuing months I have continued rebuilding my life, I went through a period of extreme anxiety over the loss of my very dear Piggy and George. Not only had I been stripped of my life by Robert "Bob" Hunt bu I had now been betrayed by a "friend" who portrayed himself as a helper but in fact was nothing but.
Recently I was told by many friends and professional in my life to attempt to locate my children, my dogs. It is for this reason that I am asking all of my friends on Twitter to please help me in the fight for me to be reunited with my beloved animals Piggy and George.
What has happened here is unthinkable, it is inhuman that someone would make decisions for someone whom they knew was in a very compromised place in their life. It is unthinkable to me that anyone would do that to another human being. It is unconscionable that a human being would do anything so callous and misguided as to break a trust. It is inhuman that a person would take such careless regard for another human beings feelings and emotions.
Paul Bridwell had no right to do what he did, he had no eight to make decisions regarding what I needed or what my dogs needed, in short he betrayed my trust. I would have turned my animals over to the shelter where it was guaranteed they would have been returned to me, no questions asked.
